Team Onyx

Team Onyx is the first all-Black expedition racing team, representing strength that comes from diversity. The team includes gay and straight athletes covering a wide range of ages from all around the world. Led by Giant ambassador Clifton Lyles, a former U.S. marine, Team Onyx is focused on adventure races like Eco-Challenge that test outdoor athletes with non-motorized races covering grueling terrain by foot, mountain bikes, sailing, paddle-boarding and whitewater rafting.
